i rarely, if ever, post to social media anymore. this domain and site have been with me for well, a long time.

this site is just a collection of notes, links and detritus for sharing with friends and others. there’s no utility to be implied by any of this beyond my personal whims.

i read a lot of stuff, from all over the place. the following links provide a near real-time view into stuff that i have tagged from various sources.

colophon

this is a bog standard hugo site, stored in git. using the PaperMod theme with some minor tweaks and overrides. this is all taped together with a collection of shell scripts and apple shortcuts so that i can capture stuff from pretty much anywhere. this is all served via cloudflare.

key bits of software:

  • working copy - this is an amazing piece of software for i(pad)os. the developer does a first rate job.
  • ivim (for ipad) - this works disturbingly well for the ipad.
  • ia writer - a plaintext home across devices, with impeccable design sense. worth every penny.
