  this is one of the more interesting and thoughtfully structured considerations of the impacts of the AI on actual work that i’ve seen. well worth the read.

  a good summary, (and recommended reading) but it makes me want to go watch the video now. (via HN)

• cisco is the bellwether of enterprise AI adoption

  like it or not cisco is the 800# gorilla in the enterprise space. not a bad take on things here. cisco does have a pretty solid market position in enterprise compute space. i suspect that this will not be as durable as it has been in the past.

• Brian O’Hara: The truth about the tragic actions of Derek Chauvin

  i don’t know what to make of brian o’hara. one minute he’s scrambling on the department’s failures and you wonder what he’s smoking. then he publishes something like this. it’s interesting to see the rebuke of the liz collins/alphanews piece.

• URL-addressable Pyodide Python environments

  this is a great read. that we can have a database wrapped in python running in our browsers both awesome and kind of scary. very useful in the bellingcat case ref’d.
