  the state of search on the fediverse. i think bray basically nails it here, the content licensing situation is the pragmatic path forward. this needs to be programmatically enforced. it’s not going to address the peter thiel corporations and the surveillance folks but locking things down for search amongst reasonable actors seems like moving things in the right direction.
